Which level are you at? I own a few of these pals, I've only defeated the first tower boss but I'm at level 22. I've rescued a Arsox from some Syndicate Thugs, hatched a Flambell, caught a Vanwyrm, Rooby, and Foxparks. Over time you'll run into a lot of these pals I'm sure.

31 right now, I also found a Arsox in a cage, a few Incineram attacked my base so got one of them, and saw some Vanwrym flying around after exploring more
